Heart and Flowers Gift Tag

This handmade gift tag will be the perfect touch to all your gift wrapping needs!

Supplies:

• Arnold Grummer's Cotton Linter Casting Squares: 2 oz package
• Arnold Grummer's Heart & Flowers Ceramic Casting Mold
• Arnold Grummer's Medium Template: Gift Tag & Envelope
• Arnold Grummer's Papermill Complete Kit
• White paper to recycle: photocopy or junk mail envelopes
• Red tissue paper
• Origami mesh: red, 2 1/2" square
• White glue, red paint (watercolor or acrylic), paintbrush
• 3 small red beads or rhinestones
• Ribbon

Steps:

1. Blend white photocopy paper or junk mail envelope with red tissue paper.
    
2. Insert Gift Tag & Envelope template into handmold. Make paper in the usual way. Let paper air dry to get the rough texture shown.
    
3. Make paper cast using Hearts 'N' Flowers casting mold. Follow directions for paper casting on any Cotton Linter package.
    
4. Paint paper cast using white glue mixed with a small dab of red paint. Set aside to dry.
    
5. Use a needle to poke holes in paper cast flower centers. Fill holes with glue, press rhinestones or beads into glue.
    
6. Fold gift tag. Layer mesh and cast on tag front, finish with ribbon.
