Recycled Wood Trees

"These cute diy recycled wood trees were made out of a left-over door frame that was pre-painted white already. I used my belt sander to sand off some of the white paint to give it a distressed look. Then I used an antiquing medium to stain the raw wood and to darken up the white. For the bases I used Starbucks bottle tops that I rusted using a quick metal rusting technique. The bases were then attached using wood screws. Then they were dressed up with a piece of holiday greenery. You can leave them plain or dress up however you desire. "
