Off the Shoulder Kitty Sweatshirt
By: Rhea from Sealed with a Stitch
Channel your inner girly girl and create an Off the Shoulder Kitty Sweatshirt. Simple sewing patterns are perfect for beginners, and this one really fits the bill. You can even print out the kitty design for the sweater - no need to draw or sketch. Attach sleeves using a sewing machine and you've got a brand new sweater made from old, repurposed fabric. Choose an oversized sweatshirt so you can easily achieve that over-the-shoulder look. This is a fun throwback to the eighties but still so modern and fashionable.

Materials:
- Oversized sweatshirt
- Paint marker
- Yellow scrap fabric
- Glue
Instructions:
- Download and print out a Hello Kitty Pattern. Cut it out.
- Use a paint marker to trace it on to your sweater.
- Mine has a little Nike tag on the top left, so I had no choice but to rip the seams open and make some alterations. So, I would strongly suggest that you get a plain sweater if you’re kind of not in the mood to resew your garment. Trace your pattern including her eyes and nose. Create whiskers. Darken your drawing. Grab a tiny little yellow scrap and trace the nose cutout. Sew or glue it on to your sweater.
- Draw a border line tracing hello kitty’s nose.
- Create a bow. Once your bow is made all you do is hand stitch it or glue it on to Hello Kitty’s left ear.
