Pretty Pink Pincushion Mannequin

From the Designer: "Make a pretty mannequin style pincushion for your sewing space by combining two favourite crafts: Diamond art Painting, and Sewing. Step 1: Complete the Red Dala Dress Diamond Art by Leisure Arts. Step 2: Spray the finished diamond art piece with Mod Podge Ultra (I used gloss). Step3: Place the diamond art piece face down on a piece of felt. Pin together. Step 4: Sew around the "Dress, leaving the bottom open. Step 5: Trim excess material around seams. Make notches at curves. Turn inside out (like a cushion). Step 6: Stuff body with fluffy batting. Step 7: Trace the bottom of the stuffed body onto a piece of paper to make a pattern for the oval base. Add a seam allowance around the oval. Step 8: Cut out an oval piece of fabric. Mark the center and cut a slit. Step 9: Hand sew oval with edges tuned in using a blind stitch. Step 10: Insert a skewer to provide stability. Secure skewer into the base of candlestick holder using hot glue and some clear vase filler. Step 11: Secure body to candlestick with some more glue."
