How to Catch a Leprechaun
-
Start by getting your tiny pot of gold attached to the bottom of the large part of your box. Take a pipe cleaner and fold it in half. Pull that through and hook the pot of gold onto the pipe cleaner. Then, bend the ends of your pipe cleaner and tape them to the inside of your box using duck tape.
Tip: tape your pot of gold farter away from the hinge of your trap. -
You are now going to want to cover the outside of your box. You can use your green duct tape for this, or, if you would prefer, you can spray paint your box with green spray paint.
-
To cover the insde of your box, take your green constructions paper and tape one end of it to the front of your box. Then, place the other end of your paper behind your pot of gold.
-
Take your wooden skewer and wrap your pipe cleaners around the stick to make it more fun and festive. Again, you can also paint this skewer if you would prefer. This will help to prop your trap up.
-
Place some of the gold coins in the inside, and then using your stickers decorate the outside of your box as well. Tape the garland around the outside of your box for some added interest.
