Sparkle Earring Holder
From the Designer: "Glittery earrings need a place of their own to shine! Hanging up your long and dangling earrings is a great way to display them when you are not wearing them, and it keeps your earrings from getting tangled. Use a smaller shadow box to hold just a few favorite earrings, or select a large shadowbox to house your whole earring collection! You can make this earring holder with just a few simple supplies. Adding multiple layers of glitter paint will make your earring holder extra sparkly!"

Instructions
-
Open the shadowbox. Remove the glass and set aside - it will not be used for this project.
-
Cut the scrapbook paper the size of the backing. You might need a few dots of adhesive to secure the scrapbook paper in place. Set aside
-
Paint the frame with a base coat of the Folk Art black paint. Allow to dry.
-
Following the instructions on the can, paint 3-4 coats of the Testors Intense glitter paint on the frame. Make sure to stir the paint well before applying - the glitter will settle.
-
On the inside of the frame, along both sides, measure 1" from the top, 3" from the top, and 5" from the top.
-
At each measurement, screw in an eye screw. You want the screw as close to the front of the shadowbox as possible, to leave room for the earring wires.
-
Cut 3 pieces of the picture hanging wire, each 12" long. String them between the sets of eye screws.
-
Put the backing back into place.
-
Hang your favorite earrings on your new earring holder - now they will always be close at hand!
