4 Craft Uses for a Wood Skewer
Use leftover wooden skewers for crafting with these ideas from Terri O. Follow the video as Terri O explains how to use wood skewers outside of the kitchen.
- Use a skewer to hold Styrofoam while you paint it or work on it.
- With a hot glue gun pick up a drop of glue on the tip of the skewer. Let it dry. Use it to pick up tiny beads and rhinestones to place them exactly where you need them. The glue is a little tacky so it picks it up very nice. If it looses its tackiness, then add more glue.
- Check out the Baby Shower Décor Centerpiece. Using the amazing Wizard you can create almost any theme for a party centerpiece.
- A great gift giving idea is to create this Candy Bouquet. The one in the picture is for Valentines Day but you can make it for any occasion you like!

I am an avid gardener and I sew a lot. I use wooden skewers for pushing seeds into the soil and also when sewing, for holding the fabric near the foot when my finger is too big. Works wonderfully in both instances.
