- Tulip® One-Step Tie-Dye Kit® Black (21764)
- White maxi dress – 100% cotton
- Plastic tablecloth
- Paper towels
How to Tie Dye a Maxi Dress

Tightly wrap rubber bands from dye boxes around the width of dress, starting at the top and moving down the entire length.

Dampen dress (with rubber bands still in place).

Cover work surface with plastic tablecloth then lay rubber-banded dress on prepared surface.

Wearing gloves from dye box, fill dye bottles with water. Shake well to mix.

Add Fuchsia to random rubber-banded sections and Black to others. Leave some sections uncolored.

Refill Black dye bottle with water to create Gray then add to sections left uncolored in previous step.

Cover dress with plastic tablecloth and let set for 6 to 8 hours. Rinse thoroughly in warm running water, removing rubber bands at this time. Wash separately in a large load of hottest water suitable for dress and a small amount of laundry soap. Dry according to care instructions.
