Footwear Makeover
"I’ve had these Oka-B sandals for quite a while now. They’re made in USA and you simply can’t tear/break or otherwise ruin them. Which is a definite plus. But as you can see they've been showing distinct signs of wear, especially because I had attached shoe-soles to them a while back and it left marks. So I decided to give the sandals a makeover. NotesFor this project you can reuse leather or faux leather of your old boots or your kids' boots. Kids grow out of the their footwear so extremely fast and as a rule of thumb the boots front will show the most signs of wear whereas the boots-tops are normally preserved much better. These tops could be upcycled for this project and become beautiful sandals soles.
