This is a great stitch. It has that look of almost a knit or a machine made blanket. You will get that tweed look by crocheting alternating rows of two different colors. Imagine how eye-catching this would look using a black with a neon green or yellow- or a charcoal gray color with a coral for that pop of color. I like thinking outside the box!
