Classroom Door Sign
Don't just put an ordinary sign on the classroom door, make it decorative! Use this kids craft idea to make learning fun. The sign will liven up the room and kids will be lining up to open the door.

- Americana Acrylics
- DAO36 - True Blue
- DAO10 - Cadmium Yellow (transparent)
- DAO67 - Lamp (Ebony) Black
- DAO55 - Kelly Green
- DA199 - Primary Red
- DAO36 - True Blue
- Americana Multi-Purpose Sealer
- DS17 - Multi-Purpose Sealer
- Unfinished wood star, Lara's Crafts P20965
- #3 round brush
- 3/4" flat brush
- Foam plate
- Water container
- Paper towels
Steps:
Note: Let dry after each step.
- Use flat brush and Cadmium Yellow to paint star.
- Refer to photo and use round brush and Primary Red to paint small apple over star.
- Use tip of round brush and Festive Green to paint leaves on apples.
- Use round brush and Lamp Black to paint personalized message on sign.
- Use round brush and True Blue to paint room number near bottom of star.
- Apply coat of Multi-Purpose Sealer to sign.
Helpful Tip:
A hair dryer on low heat setting can be used to speed drying process of paint.
