Shimmery Foam Bangles
If you're looking for unique handmade jewelry designs, why not try making your own? These Shimmery Foam Bangles from I Love to Create are made with fabric and foam, so they are light weight and can easily slip on and off your wrist.
Materials:
- Tulips Fashion Glitter Shimmer Paint
- Fabric
- Stamps (optional)
- Copper acrylic paint (optional)
- Paint brush
- Craft foam pencil holders
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Tulip Beads in a Bottle paint
Instructions:
- Using gold shimmer paint, paint a nice thick layer onto the surface of scrap fabric.
- If you want some texture, use a stamp and some copper acrylic paint and stamp into the wet surface of the fabric. The result is a very subtle imprint of the stamps that adds a little texture to the surface.
- Now, for the next step your could use wooden bangles, plastic bangles, or anything that will fit around your wrist...but we like to use craft foam because it is a little stretchy and very light.
- Cut sections of the foam to create the bangle.
- After your shimmer fabric is dry, cut out strips and use hot glue as you wrap the strip around the bangle.
- Once the entire bangle is wrapped, add some little details and embellishments with Tulip Beads in a Bottle.
- The result is chunky and funky bangles!

Great idea! I have large hands and it's always hard to get bangles on...but I think this will work great! Thanks for sharing!
