How to Make a Fabric Embellished Postcard
Save your felt for scrap fabric crafts! This is a great way to trim your trash and save money! Learn how to make a Fabric Embellished Postcard from Heather Valentine that you can send in the mail or give to a friend. It's a unique way to say hello and show you care.
Cut cardstock so it is the size of a standard postcard. Trace an image on to freezer paper and using an iron on a low setting, adhere the shape to the felt. For the background, cut a piece of fabric that is just a bit larger than your card. Pin the image in the center of the felt background and stitch around the edges. Stitch the background on to the card using an edge stitch. Trim away the excess and add any of your own fun embellishments to the fabric.
