How to Make a Fabric and Wire Gypsy Bracelet
Change the way you look at DIY jewelry crafts and take a trip to another time and place. Learn how to make a Fabric and Wire Gypsy Bracelet from Candace Jedrowicz using fat quarters, paper coffee cups and wire. Make a bunch and wear them all on at once.
Save your clean, dry paper coffee cup and use a craft knife to remove the rim. Dip into your collection of fabric scraps and fat quarters and cut out a 1" wide piece of fabric. Dab a bit of Aleene's Tacky Glue on the end of the fabric and begin wrapping it around the rim. Grab your craft wire and trim 6" pieces. Begin making spirals and other shapes before you wrap the wire about the bracelet itself. Try funky wire designs and unexpected fabrics to give your bracelets a fun twist.
