How to Make a Steampunk Angel Door Hanger
Gather up your favorite craft supplies and get to work on some easy steampunk crafts that work for the holidays and beyond. Learn how to make a Steampunk Angel Door Hanger that incorporates fabric, glitter, paint and more into one cool, industrial project from Lisa Fulmer.
Start by painting the hanger with white gesso and then cover with metallic paint. You can also mix in some sand to give the piece extra texture. Cut out a diamond shape from your fabric and spray with glitter. Once dry, glue the fabric as well as embellishments such as rhinestones to the front of the piece. Twist wire to create a skirt and add beads to the ends. Add a face into the circle (an image you like or a picture of someone you love) to personalize the product.
