How to Stencil with Mica
Create intricate and amazing designs that will change the way you look at stamp and stencil crafts. Learn how to stencil with mica from Susan Pickering Rothamel and create beautiful paper crafts, cards, scrapbooks and more. This is a fun and simple craft technique.
Start adding double sided adhesive to a stencil and sprinkle on several colors of Mica D'Lights. The more you layer, the brighter the color will look. The colors will act like a watercolor, especially when you rub your hands on the surface. This is a simple way to blend the colors and create a unqiue look. Peel off the adhesive and, if you want, add a deeper color of Mica D'Lights to add depth. Use a brush to get rid of the excess and save whatever is left for another project. Apply the adhesive to a piece of carstock for a pretty card or scrapbook page.
