Lelanie Denso My name’s Lelanie. I am a Filipino residing in Spain. I am a stay-at-home mom to two children, a 6 year-old girl and a 3 year-old boy. I have a BA in Language and Literature, a certificate as a nursing aide, and an MBA degree. I used to work as a college instructor in a state university but had to take a long “hiatus” when I got married and immediately got pregnant with my first baby. From then on, I have enjoyed being a full-time mom to my princess and now, also to my li’l guy. I have always loved to create with my hands. I used to sketch, scrapbook and do cross stitch. Two years ago, my husband gave me my first sewing machine as an early Christmas gift but it stood untouched for 9 months since I was busy finishing my MBA degree. Last year, one summer day, I took the sewing machine from its box and started sewing, basically to re-purpose some unused clothes. I was a beginner and a self-taught sewer but I haven’t stopped sewing ever since! I then created a sewing Facebook group with my sister, Laarnie and high school friend, Lhorie and opened my own Etsy shop. A few weeks later, the blog was born. Laarnie is in Japan while Lhorie is in China but the distance is not a hindrance for us to make the blog work.
