Floral Boutique Tissue Cover
Decorate your tissue boxes with a fabulous free crochet pattern. If you like flowers then you'll love this design. Make your own floral boutique tissue box cover. You can use any colored yarns you want.
Materials:
- 72 yds. White Red Heart 4-ply yarn
- 30 yds. Warm Brown Red Heart 4-ply yarn
- For Flowers:
- 5 yds. each Blue Jewel, Grenadine, Sea Coral and Yellow Red Heart 4-ply yarn
- For Stems and Leaves:
- 6 yds. each Paddy Green and Spring Green Red Heart 4-ply yarn
- F, G and H crochet hooks or size needed for guage
- Tapesty Needle
- Sewing Needle and Thread
- Boutique Tissue Box

STITCH GUIDE
Chain (ch), Single Crochet (sc), Double Crochet (dc), Triple Crochet (trc), Slip Stitch (sl st)
SIDES (make 4)
Row 1 – With white and H hook ch 14, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch across, ch 1 and
turn. (13 scs)
Row 2 – Sc in each sc across, ch 1 and turn.
Rows 3-15 – Rep Row 2.
Row 16 – Rep Row 2, fasten off and turn.
Edging of Sides: With warm brown and H hook work 3 sc in upper right corner sp, 11 sc
across top, 3 sc in corner sp, 15 sc evenly spaced along side edge, 3 sc in
corner sp, 11 sc along bottom, 3 sc in corner sp, 15 sc evenly spaced along
side edge, join to beg sc and fasten off leaving yarn for joining sides
together. When you are finished turn piece to other side – this is the
right side.
TOP
Row 1 – With white and H hook ch 15, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch across, ch 1 and
turn. (14 scs)
Row 2-7 – Sc in each sc across, ch 1 and turn.
Row 8 – Sc in each of next 3 sc, ch 8 (for tissue opening), skip 8 scs, sc in each of remaining scs, ch 1 and turn.
Row 9 – Sc in each of next 3 sc, work 1 sc in each ch and remaining scs, ch 1 and turn. (14 scs)
Row 10-14 – Rep Row 2.
Row 15 – Rep Row 2, fasten off and Do Not Turn.
Edging of Top: With warm brown and H hook work 3 sc in upper right corner sp, 12 sc across top edge, 3 sc in corner sp, 12 sc evenly spaced along side edge, 3 sc in corner sp, 12 sc across bottom edge, 3 sc in corner sp, 12 sc evenly spaced along side edge, join to beg sc and fasten off leaving yarn for joining top to sides.
Small Buds: (make 4) Split white yarn into 2 strand pieces. With H hook ch 4 and form a ring, work 8 sc in ring, join to beg sc and fasten off.
FINISHING
- Sew flowers, stems and leaves on each side as shown on Flower Graph.
- With warm brown and wrong sides together whipstitch top loops of sides pieces together.
- With warm brown and wrong sides together whipstitch top loops of sides and top together.
- Sew one small bud in each top corner.
FLOWERS
Flower #1 – Split flower color yarn into 2 strand pieces
Rnd 1 – With H hook ch 4 and form a ring, 8 sc in ring, join to beg sc.
Rnd 2 – (Sc, 3 dc) in each sc around, join to beg sc and fasten off.
Flower #2 – Split flower color yarn into 2 strand pieces
Rnd 1 – With G hook ch 4 and form a ring, 10 sc in ring, join to beg sc.
Rnd 2 – Ch 2, 3 dc in next st, ch 2, (sl st in next st, ch 2, 3 dc in next st, ch 2) around, join
with a sl st to last round and fasten off.
Flower #3 – Split flower color yarn into 2 strand pieces
Rnd 1 – With G hook ch 4 and form a ring, 10 sc in ring, join to beg sc.
Rnd 2 – Ch 3, 2 trc in next st, ch 3, (sl st in next st, ch 3, 2 trc in next st, ch 3) around, join
with a sl st to last round and fasten off.
Flower #4 – Split flower color yarn into 2 strand pieces
Rnd 1 – With G hook ch 4 and form a ring, 12 sc in ring, join to beg sc.
Rnd 2 – Ch 3, 3 dc in next st, ch 3, (sl st in next st, ch 3, 3 dc in next st, ch 3) around, join
with a sl st to last round and fasten off.
LEAVES AND STEMS
Small Leaf #1 – Split leaf color yarn into 2 strand pieces
With F hook ch 7, sc in 2nd ch from hook, work a sc, hdc, hdc, sc, 3 sc in last ch, work along
opposite side of chain sc, hdc, hdc, sc, sc, sl st in beg ch and fasten off.
Medium Leaf #2 – Split leaf color yarn into 2 strand pieces
With F hook ch 7, sc in 2nd ch from hook, work a hdc, hdc, dc, dc, hdc, sl st into opposite
side of chain, work along side of chain ch 2, dc, dc, hdc, hdc, sc, sl st in beg ch, and fasten off.
Large Leaf #3 – Split leaf color yarn into 2 strand pieces
With F hook ch 12, sc in 2nd ch from hook, work hdc, hdc, 1 dc in each of next 6 chs, 2 hdc
in next ch, sc, work along opposite side of chain sc, 2 hdc in next ch, 1 dc in each of next 6
scs, hdc, hdc, sc, sl st in beg ch and fasten off.
Long Thin Leaf #4 – Split leaf color yarn into 2 strand pieces
With F hook ch 10, sc in 2nd ch from hook, work sc, sc, 1 hdc in each of next 5 chs, sc in
last ch, work along opposite side of ch sc, 1 hdc in each of next 5 hdc, sc, sc, sc, sl st in
beg ch and fasten off.
Stem: Split stem color into 2 strand pieces
With F hook make a chain length you need plus 7 extra chs, sl st into 7th ch from hook to
form the top of the stem and fasten off.
