Ocean Hues Triangle Afghan Motif

This simple Ocean Hues Triangle Afghan Motif is great for working afghan corners or pillow corners.  Made in a traditional granny-square style, this simple crochet motif is great to have on file for whenever you need it.  You can mix and match colors and sizes to create a stunning afghan, or turn this cute pattern into edging for a skirt, a montage for a pillow, or wherever else your imagination takes you!

Materials:

• 3.00 or 4.5 Crochet Hook
• 3 ply Cotton Yarn or 8 ply Polly yarn
• Scissors
• Tapestry or Wool Needle

Instructions:

1. Round 1 Start by making a Slip Knot. Then chain 3 Chain Stitches (counts as one double crochet), crochet 3 Double Crochets into the ring, chain 1. Crochet 4 double crochets into ring. Fasten Off.
    
2. Round 2 Join Yarn into the top of the previous chain 3. Chain 3 (counts as one double crochet), crochet 3 double crochets into the same stitch, skip next 3 double crochet stitches. Crochet 3 double crochets into previous rounds chain one space. Chain 1, then crochet 3 double crochets into previous rounds chain one. Skip 3 double crochet stitches. Crochet 4 double crochets into the last stitch. Fasten Off.
    
3. Round 3 Join yarn into the top of the previous chain 3. Chain 3 (counts as one double crochet), crochet 3 double crochets into the same stitch, skip next 3 double crochet stitches.
