Colorful Button Photo Holder
Save your favorite photos and display them in style. Button craft ideas don't get more cute or practical than this Colorful Button Photo Holder from Tiffany Windsor. To create your piece, simply use alcohol inks and white buttons to decorate clothespins.
Materials:
- Aleene’s Super Thick Tacky Glue
- Aleene’s Spray Acrylic Sealer – Gloss
- Buttons
- Alcohol ink
- Cosmetic sponges
- Plastic cups
- Clothespins
- Wooden skewer
- Cool2Cast
- Plastic blister packaging – round design for base
Instructions:

Put several drops of alcohol ink into plastic cup.

Dab cosmetic sponge into ink.

With a light touch, dab ink onto raised surface of button.

Repeat with desired colors of ink. Let ink dry completely.

Use same ink to apply color to clothespin. Glue buttons onto clothespin. Let dry completely. Spray sides and front of clothespin with gloss spray. Let dry.

To create magnet, cut magnetic tape strip and apply to back of clothespin.

To create tabletop stand, pour Cool2Cast into mold. As Cool2Cast starts to set up, press wooden skewer into Cool2Cast. Hold or prop in place so that it sets straight while Cool2Cast sets up.

Use same ink colors to color Cool2Cast and wooden skewers. Cut skewers to desired lengths.

Glue button clothespins to wooden skewers. Let dry. Insert your favorite ATC, greeting or sentiment card.
