Easy Rustic Mason Jar Decorations

There are just so many things you can do with Mason jars. In this Easy Rustic Mason Jar Decorations tutorial, you'll learn how to create two fabulous pieces of DIY home decor. These Mason jar crafts are super easy to make and look absolutely fabulous when you're done. Place them on your mantel, in your kitchen, or anywhere you need a little rustic touch. Materials:

• Ball vintage style jars
• Tim Holtz numbers
• Burlap ribbon
• White matte spray paint
• Hot glue gun
• Hot glue

Instructions:

1. To create the vase, wrap a length of the burlap ribbon around the middle of the jar and glue an enamel number in the center.
   
   
    
2. To create the spray painted jar, clean the jars and lids first with soapy water, rinsed, and dried thoroughly. 
    
3. Spray the jar with spray paint. Two light coats of the matte white spray paint was adequate.
    
4. Once dry, sand the jar lightly with a medium grit sanding sponge to bring out the highlights.
    
5. Glue the number to the lid.
