Paint Chip Mobile
Turn a nursery into a relaxing haven for both babies and their tired mommies and daddies with this homemade Paint Chip Mobile. DIY baby mobiles are inexpensive to make but add a fun dimension to any bedroom.
Materials:
- Twine
- Paint chips
- Two-inch circle punch
- Embroidery hoop
- Hot glue
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Use a two-inch circle punch to create paint chips circles.
- Cut a piece of twine around one yard.
- Start hot gluing two paint chips together, connecting the pieces with twine in the middle.
- Create a color pattern using paint chips.
- As you finish each row, tie it to the hoop.
- Repeat steps through through five for each string of paint chips.
- Once it's ready to be hung, tie three pieces of twine together and space them out equally around the hoop.
- Attach mobile to the ceiling.

Hi There--Thanks for the comment. Yes, paint chips are available for free at most home remodeling stores. If you'd rather not use those paint chips for crafting, you can also use construction paper or cardstock for a similar effect. Thanks again!

Where does one get paint chips? Are we stealing them from stores??
