Now this is a worthy cause. May beaches get polluted from plastic and flip flops and what I've seen during cleanup is horrific. Tonnes of these flip flops are collected and some artists are using them to make flip flop animals. This project kinda reminds me of one of the entries I saw in the competition and it's super easy and fun. Instead of buying them, collect them during a beach clean-up.

I made my flip flop wreath with dollar store flip flops in blue, green, pink, and purple. I attached them to a round piece of cardboard covered with a picture of a beachball. Then I attached sunglasses, a beach shovel, and a lei. It turned out beautiful, but it is so big that I use it as my dining room table centerpiece instead of a wall wreath. Now I want to make another one in red, white, and blue!

I made one from flip flops and I just love it. I use it however with my Christmas ocean theme. I like the tips of the cardboard and E6000, I didn't use that and wish I had these instructions prior. Here is mine. https//www.pinterest.com/pin/166562886191936095/ I added a lei. I put sticky gem stones on the flip flops and added the sign, which are just stickers. They are fun to do.
