Rosy DIY Throw Pillow
Sprucing up your home for Valentine's Day doesn't have to be difficult or expensive. This Rosy DIY Throw Pillow is a quick way to add some romantic flair to your living room. While this tutorial on how to make a pillow involves sewing, you don't have to stitch each of the small roses onto the pillow by hand. Materials:
- Aleene's® Fabric Fusion® Permanent Fabric Adhesive
- (16) Silk roses – red
- Batting
- Scissors
- (2) Felt squares – red
- Ruler
- Hole punch
- Sewing pins

Satin ribbon – red – ¼” wide – 2 yards
Instructions:

Cut felt into two 9” x 9” squares.

Lay the squares on top of each other. Punch holes along each side, ½” apart.

Lace ribbon in a whip-stitch all the way around, leaving a 4” opening.

Stuff pillow with batting.

Complete lacing the ribbon and tie ends into a bow.

Pull flowers from stems. Glue flowers to the pillow with Fabric Fusion, four flowers across in four rows. Pin in place until glue is set, then pull out pins.
