Materials:
-
Aleene's® Fabric Fusion® Permanent Fabric Adhesive
- Aleene's® Tacky Line Runner™
- T-shirt scraps – various colors
- Vacation photo
- Fabric scissors
- Picture frame
-
Circular object – 2.5” in diameter (for cutting template)
Instructions:
-
Cut a series of circles from T-shirt scraps, using circular object as a template. Cut all of the same color or a variety of colors to add vibrant highlights to the frame.
-
Select one of the fabric circles, fold it in half, then fold in half again, Cut a scalloped edge along the arched edge to turn the folded fabric into a heart shape.
-
Unfold the piece of fabric (it should slightly resemble a four-leafed clover) and squeeze a small amount of fabric glue in the center. Fold it in half with the edges slightly askew (so the petals are not exactly aligned) and pinch together.
-
Apply a small dab of glue along the folded edge and fold in half again to create a blossom. Pinch the end and separate the petals; let dry.
-
Repeat steps to create desired number of petals.
-
Use the Tacky Line Runner to apply double-stick adhesive tape to the front of frame, being careful not to touch adhesive.
-
One by one, press blossoms onto frame, angling and overlapping them to create desired look. Fill entire frame with petals.
- Add vacation photo and display in your favorite spot!
