If you are looking for a winter themed gift for neighbors or co-workers, this Winter Survival Kit has everything you need to beat the winter doldrums. I decorated and filled bottles with Chicken noodle soup, Chai Tea Mix, hot Cocoa, etc. This would also make a great "get well soon" gift. Be sure to include the directions for finishing the mixes somewhere on the packages (ex. mix with 1 cup hot water, etc).

This Jam and Jellies Gift Pack was featured in a Summer edition of Crafts n Things in their spectacular food gift section. I had a blast sewing the little stuffed strawberries, they made a great addition to the distressed, country jars. I also tied on a little larkspur to give the bottles a little country texture.

If the idea of making simple dip mixes appeals to you, consider whipping up this easy gift. I called it "Message in a Bottle" Summer dip mixes since the recipient has to remove the bottle top to pull the mixing instructions out. This idea could be adapted for the holiday season as well by using a "secret santa" recipe theme and using holiday inspired dips instead of summer dips.

For the tea lover, this "Miss Muffets" tea collection will be a welcome gift! Simply flavor loose tea leaves with different spices or fill with individual tea bags. Since I opted for tea leaves, I added a tea ball to my carrier. I traced a tea tag from kraft paper and stamped the individual names of each flavor on the tags which were hung from the bottle necks.
