Fabulous Floral Greeting Card

Spring paper crafts are a great way to celebrate the season. Create a Fabulous Floral Greeting Card using PLUS America products and a variety of decorative paper. This is a great craft idea for Mother's Day - mom will love your pretty creation.


 

Materials:

• PLUS America Glue Tape Pen
• PLUS America Mini Decoration Roller
• 5" X 7" blank card (you can use a pre-made card  or make one)
• Scrapbook paper
• Coordinating card stock 
• Dry embossing machine (eg Sizzix, Cuttlebug, Fiskars)
• Embossing Folder
• 3-D floral sticker
• Embellishments

Instructions:

1. Cut scrapbook paper to 4.75x6.75 and apply to card. Cut the cardstocks to size and deboss the periwinkle panel through a die cutting machine like a Cuttlebug. Cut out the center using an Xacto knife. This is where the PLUS Glue Pen comes in very handy because it curves easily around the opening. Apply this to a cream panel, then mount on a green panel as shown. Add the 3-D iris sticker to the middle, wrap an organza ribbon around the layered panels and attach to  card with foam dots. 
    
2. Optionally, add a brass dragonfly charm as an accent. 
   
   
    
3. What's a card without an envelope that does justice to the card? Use one of the PLUS Decoration rollers and run it diagonally on two corners of an envelope. These are self inking and great for adding an extra touch. Use up leftover scrapbook paper from the card on the corners (the Glue Pen is great for small spaces).
