Naturally Yours Card Set

Working with natural materials like sticks, burlap, and feathers can create beautiful homemade greeting cards to use for any occasion. Be inspired by these natural homemade greeting cards.

Materials:

• Castings (paper or polymer clay)
• Assorted Naturals: sticks, scraps of burlap, straw mat, cotton fish net, feather trim
• Aleene’s Tacky Glue
• Scissors
• Card Blanks

Instructions:

1. Step into your backyard or maybe a nature trail and gather twigs and sticks. Clean if needed and break into pieces slightly smaller than the height of your card blank.
    
2. Randomly cut your straw mat, burlap, or cotton fish net to fit your card blank front. Adhere the piece to the card front. All of these materials can be manipulated so feel free to shape, stretch, and position the material any way you want to the card front.
    
3. Weave twigs and sticks through the materials, each has a very loose weave. You can also adhere the twigs and sticks over the natural materials. Keep in mind you are designing to frame your casting.
    
4. Adhere the casting to card front.
