She did another tutorial on earrings and did an awesome job as she did with this one. She speaks clearly and makes sure you can see her hands. This is a very pretty pendent that can be used on a necklace by itself or with other beads and put in center hanging from the chain. Nice to see this done on video so you can see it done. Very nice jewelry piece for not costing much and the bead options are endless. Pair this with the earring for a stunning set.

I am appalled at the petty comments made regarding this tutorial. This crafter was sharing how she mae her project and it certainly gave those of us that do not have "the correct tools" the knowledge that we do not have to be professionally outfitted to make this, or a similar project, but can use the tools we may have at hand. Personally, it gave me the desire to try it and gave my imaginative juices a spark. Personally, I want to thank her for sharing her technique and let her know her information was very hellpful and gave me some ideas for my own project.

girls, girls, a bit of compassion please. I wouldn't say she was unprofessional, only that she seems to be a beginner. she might prefer the untidy look... and you have to admit that the pendant is nice and creative. she did explain things thoroughly, and the eye holding the pearl was well done. and yes, when making a public tutorial, you should use the correct tools and terms. also emi, it is professional to give a proper list of materials: what size bead? what was the wire made of (silver, alpaca etc)? what diameter should the round handle be, to make the round frame for the bead? aproximately is good enough if you mention variations in the type of bead you use, it would be very convincing to show pictures of one of these variations... and also pictures of the finished necklace and earrings.

i think she did a good job and i will try this. I think the only reason some didn't like it, is because they don't think they can do it. It looked to me that she used fat wire, so if you want to make this just make sure the wire you use, will work with the pearl or bead your going to use.

I think she should take a few lessons in real jewelry making! She was using an ELECTRICAL chain nose pliers! That is the first no-no in tools. Her loops and wraps are sloppy and very untidily finished. You don't have to be a genious or have expensive tools to make nice jewelry, but if you are selling things and instructing others, you should at least know the correct techniques, tools and terms.
