New Years Napkin Rings

Ring in the new year with sparkling designs from the creative folks at Sizzix.  Made with their Christmas Cardmaking Die collection and the bonus Textured Impressions Embossing Folder these homemade napkin rings will surely dazzle your new years.
 

Materials:

• Sizzix Bigz Die - Regal Crest
• Sizzix Bigz Die w/Bonus Textured Impressions - Star, Primitive #2Metallic Paper
• Cardstock
• Empty Toilet-Paper Roll
• Button
• Pipe Cleaners

Instructions:

1. Die-cut a Primitive Star from metallic paper, align the corresponding embossing folder over the shape and roll through the machine to emboss.
    
2. Form swirls with silver pipe cleaner and attach to the Star. Embellish with a decorative button.
    
3. Die-cut a Banner from white cardstock and add sentiment and border detail with a pen. Adhere to the front of the Star.
    
4. Cover an empty toilet-paper roll with metallic paper and use as the "ring." Adhere the ring to the back of the Star.
