Perfect Pearls: Shimmering Mist

You can learn how to make your own shimmering mist to use on scrapbook backgrounds and homemade cards with this handy video tutorial from Marti Wills. This technique allows you to transform any paper you have into glittery, shimmering paper! These paper techniques will take your paper supply so much farther!

Materials:

• Perfect Pearls Mica Powder by Ranger – multiple colors
• Dye Reinker – any color(s)
• Cardstock
• Patterned Paper
• Mini mister of water

Instructions:

1. Fill your mini mister ¾ full with plain water.
    
2. Add a scoop of Perfect Pearls Mica Powder about the size of a small pea.
    
3. Mix well and mist over patterned paper or plain cardstock for a mist of colorful shimmer ONLY.
    
4. Add any color Dye Reinker to the mixture for shimmer + color – the more reinker you add the darker your color will be.
    
5. Mix well and mist over cardstock.
    
6. Paper may curl some when wet but will settle back down once dry.
