Instructions:
Placemats and Runner
-
To create runner, measure and cut an 11” x 64” (or desired length) strip from green felt yardage. To create placemats, measure and cut desired number of 11” x 16” pieces. Measure and cut ¾” wide strips along entire length of white felt sheet.
-
For runner, place one long white strip vertically across center. Measure and mark every 7” from center and line lightly with chalk. Cut several white strips into 3 ½” lengths then cut in half lengthwise. Position all pieces in place pressing long strips along chalk lines. Place the shorter strips halfway between the longer ones.
-
For placemats, position all pieces in place as shown, apply a thin even coat of Fast Grab Tacky Glue to back of each, and then press in place.
-
Use white chalk to lightly draw numbers next to each felt line as shown.
-
Test flow of White Slick 3D Paint on paper towel using an even pressure on bottle for a smooth line. Fill in chalked numbers with paint. Let dry.
- A damp paper towel can be used to wipe off chalk lines if needed.
Coasters
-
Cut out and pin football pattern to brown felt and cut out football shapes. Pin curved pattern to white and cut out two for each coaster.
-
Position strips onto coaster then glue in place.
- Add White Slick 3D Paint curved lines and stitches between felt strips. Let dry.
Cupcake Goalposts
-
Fold yellow pipe cleaner in half and press together. Twist stems together up about 2 ½”. Open stems then bend each at a 90-degree angle. Use wire cutters to cut off excess stem leaving about a 1½” length for uprights of goalposts.
-
To create numbers, start at one end, bending and twisting stem as needed into desired number. Cut off excess.
- Poke into cupcakes.
