Gift Packages with Crackle

Create holiday accent gift packages that pop with crackled texture, tulle and greenery. These gift packages are elegant, yet the materials are inexpensive.

Materials:

Texture Crackle

TXC09 - Glacier Blue
TXC10 - Sage Green

Texture Primer_Sealer

TXFP07 - Texture Primer/Sealer

Elegant Finish Glazes

DGM02 - Luminous Gold

Palette Knife

DT02 - Palette Knife

Supplies

Large flat brush
Fan brush
Water container
Palette or plastic plate
Paper towels
Ribbon/tulle
Scissors
Assorted floral picks/embellishments
Low temp glue gun with glue sticks or thick craft glue
7 15/16" Styrofoam cube
4 7/8" Styrofoam cube

Steps:

Allow to dry between steps.

Use large flat brush to apply Texture Primer/Sealer over surface of each cube.
Use palette knife to apply Glacier Blue on side of small Styrofoam cube. Repeat for each side.
Repeat step one using Sage Green on large Styrofoam cube.
Use fan brush to lightly brush Luminous Gold over crackled surface.
When dry, tie with ribbon or tulle and embellish with pine cones, berries, floral picks, etc., as desired.
