Materials For Sarong:
- Required fabric = your hip measurement + 36”.
- example your hip measurement = 32” + 36”= 68” or 1 7/8 yards Iron and ironing surface
- Sewing machine or heat activated adhesive tape
Instructions For Sarong:

I have been looking at these sarong at the department stores but have not found one with fabric I like yet and thought I will make one. I thought it would be so time consuming but oh my gosh it is super easy. I should how made a few by now. And I love the flip flops to go with it so cute and simple to complete the outfit. I think I will make my daughters and granddaughters a little shorter too. Anyone enjoying one yet?

I love the idea! I search the discount stores but do not find the color, style, or material I might like and the price is costly for a cover-up! I can't wait to make one for myself. I would like to shorten mine a bit though so I will let you know how it turns out ok. Thanks again! Tina

Very clever and potentially thrifty! I'm going to make a set for each of my daughters and their daughters. Thank you, Susan.
