Camera-Ready Stenciled Shirt

Don't let the concept of DIY stencil making scare you away from this quick and easy project. You only need a few supplies to make your own Camera-Ready Stenciled Shirt, making it perfect for busy crafters. This is a great way to rework an old shirt. You can also use the techniques in this project to design a variety of different t-shirts. Best of all, kids and adults can work together to complete this project.


 

Materials:

• Fabric Paint
• Stencil (create your own or use a store-bought version)
• Shirt
• Pouncer
• Paper

Instructions:

1. Apply your stencil onto the shirt.
    
2. Put some fabric paint on to paper and dab the pouncer in the paint.
    
3. Press once on to the paper. Start pouncing your brush around the stencil. Make to keep the paint on the stencil so you don't get a stain on the other part of the shirt.
    
4. After you've applied a good solid layer, remove the stencil.
    
5. Let your shirt dry completely.
