Follow the Arrow String Art

If you're feeling a little lost, get back to basics with DIY wall art. Make your own Follow the Arrow String Art and display it on a bedroom or living room wall. This piece is so easy to make and it looks super sophisticated. Grab a long piece of yarn and a piece of wood for this project - you'll be hanging up the finished piece before you know it. Once you've mastered the arrow design, you can move on to more complicated projects.

Materials:

• Wood
• Nails
• Yarn
• Hammer
• Image guide

Instructions:

1. Place a guide in the spot where you'd like your shape to be.
    
2. Hammer nails around the guide.
    
3. After all the nails are in place, remove the guide.
    
4. Tie a knot to one of the nails and begin looping it around each nail.
    
5. When you make it back to the first nail, take the leftover piece of yarn from the knot and create another knot. If you don't have any string left to make the knot, use hot glue.
