Sing Loud Wall Hanging
Whether you have an angelic voice or not, it's always fun to belt out your favorite tunes. Remind yourself to have fun with a Sing Loud Wall Hanging from Savannah Starr. This DIY wall decor project is perfect for music-lovers and songbirds.
Materials:
- Stretched canvas
- Spray paint (I used gold and black)
- Alphabet letters (I used 4″ repositionable and 1″ craft foam sticky letters)
- Craft knife (This is optional to help you lift the letters off the canvas)
- Newspapers or brown kraft paper (to protect outdoor surface when you are spraying)
Instructions:
- On my canvas, I used two different sizes of lettering. For the words at the bottom, I used the sticky craft foam letters. Since I wanted these to appear white on my canvas, I placed them directly onto the blank white canvas. These letters are different colors but that is fine because you will be spraying over them.
- Once I had all my bottom lettering in place, I spray painted the entire canvas gold. Let paint dry.
- Next, I placed my larger lettering over the gold painted canvas. These letters are 4″ and are sticky but they are re-useable and re-positionable.
- Next, I spray painted over the lettering with black spray paint. Let paint dry.
- Now you can start removing the lettering. I used a craft knife to help lift the small sticky letters off the bottom of my canvas.
- Then I removed my larger letters to reveal my SING LOUD! Let your voice be heard canvas. I LOVE it!
