-
Repeat row 3 and 4 until the desired measurement ending with row 3 and fasten off leaving a long tail.
- Join ends together using the long tail and take the side just fastened off using the tapestry needle to sew the front loop only of the stitch and the bottom loop of each sc on the first row. Fasten off and weave in the ends.
Bottom Portion of Boot Cuff:
-
Row 1: Join to cuff by ch 1 and sc evenly around, sl st into first sc (not the ch 1). (Hint) You will later be decreasing stitches so be sure that your stitches will divide by 4 evenly then add two more sc. (Example: Sc 40 stitches plus 2=42 stitches around.) 42 will actually be a good number to use on the average size cuff.

These would have really made my outfit just the other day. That was the first time that I pulled them out this season. It has been raining here all week and just drab. I guess because the weather has not changed I could take a few minutes to make a pair of these for the next wear of my boots.

I just pulled out my winter clothes totes and found my two pair of boots. Now is the time to start making cuffs to wear with them this season. This pair has two distinctive patterns and I am sure they will be one of my favorite pairs.

These simple but elegant boot cuffs will take you out to lunch with your gal pals, hiking, and shopping! They really are all-purpose. Make some of these in several different colors. You can coordinate them with your sweaters and tunics. These are simple enough to make, using just chains, skip stitches, half-double and double crochets.
