A project like this is a great one to take to a craft fair. Make a few different sizes to cover for a wide variety of smart devices like bigger phones, iPads, and iPad minis. The shell stitch gives just the right touch of texture and interest. I would also suggest making a flap with a button and button hole. You will want to keep your smart phone secure as well as fashionable!

BP is for back post and FP is for front post ... if you go to youtube and search for those terms you should be able to find tutorials on the stitches :-)

This is cute and I would like to make several for various phones etc. Just one problem...What is BPDC and FPDC? I looked in several resources I have and cannot find out what it is or how to do it. I would think DC refers to double crochet. Does BP mean back post and FP fromt post? If so how is it done. Thanks

Maybe BP is for back panel and FP is for front panel? This is just a guess.
