My Grandmother would always gather the buttons off of articles of clothing no longer usable and I asked her about it. She said it was just a habit and if she needed a button she would have a collection to start with before going out to buy some. That was fugal of her and I do it also. With this project, my collection would not even start to make this design but the link for the buttons lets me know it is not really all that expensive. I could make several of these for a display.

Adorable. Instead of placing this on a wall I think I will put this pumpkin button art piece in a picture frame with a stand to place on my office desk. There are a lot of steps to this project that I will probably forgo but I love the concept. A quick google search shows that I can get 650 orange buttons for under 8 bucks. Looks like this may be for a large picture frame after all.

I am always looking for prone vs that use buttons. I found a coffee can filled with all different kinds of buttons. It was in a thrift store and they wanted $3. There were some real beauties. But a lot of Orange and yellow which I don't use much. This will really help.
