Beaded Star Earrings

Materials:

• .25 grams of seed beads
• 24 size 1 bugle beads
• 6 crystal or fire polished size 4mm beads
• Earring wires
• Beading thread
• Beading needles

Instructions:

1. On a yard of beading thread pick up a crystal and seed bead and a crystal and seed bead until you have six crystals and six seed bead. Go back through the first two beads to thread this will form a circle. Leave about a six inch tail. The thread will be exiting a seed bead.
   
   
    
2. Pick up a bugle bead, a seed bead and a bugle bead. Skip next crystal and go through the next seed bead in the circle. Continue in to pick up a bugle bead, a seed bead and a bugle bead around the circle. After going through last seed bead go up through the first bugle bead and seed bead added at the beginning of this round.
    
   
    
3. Pick up 5 seed beads and go through the next seed bead of the last round. Then pick up 5 seed beads and go through the next seed bead of last round. Continue in this manner around until circle is filled. At the end of this round exit a seed bead from the last round. Pick up three seed beads a earring wire and three seed beads. Follow the thread path one more time to make secure. Tie a knot and weave in end. Weave in tail to finish off.
