Every child relentlessly begs their parents for a cat or dog. "I promise I'll fit it, and walk it and pick up its poop." Yeah, we've heard that one before and guess what happens? The parents end up taking the majority of responsibility for your new four-legged family member. Instead of giving in, opt for a lifelike puppy from Little Felted Dogs.
Inside this book are easy projects for making adorable puppies. Now you can craft the cutest version of that puppy they always wanted...or of the pup you already got suckered into getting. From a variety breeds including a bulldog, a poodle, a corgi, and so many others, there is most likely your breed in this book. I'm quite partial to the shiba inu since my dog is half shiba and half husky.
The needle-felting step-by-step instructions are easy to follow and only require a small amount of felt to complete your new friend. The diagrams allow you to visualize what the shape should look like and tells you what colors each portion should be. If you're creating a dalmation, the diagram will tell you where to put the spots and what colors to use.
There are 24 adorable dog breeds throughout this book that you will easily fall in love with. The beginning of the book goes over needle felting basics and essential tools. In addition to wool and a simple felting needle, the projects in this book require other tools like a felting pad, a digital scale, small scissors, needle-nose pliers and a few others.
With 112 pages to look through you will find a new love for needle felting in Little Felted Dogs. These are great to make for kids to play with or for a friend who's obsessed with a certain breed; it would also make a nice gift for someone who just lost their pet. These dogs will bring a smile to everyone's face.
