A Cute Advent Sled

Count down the days to Christmas with your new advent calendar. this is a great craft for the kids to help out with. Acrylics give the sled its beautiful color and design. Christmas is almost here.

  • DAO36 - True Blue
  • DAO67 - Lamp (Ebony) Black
  • DA170 - Santa Red
  • DA230 - Festive Green
  • DA275 - Sour Apple
• Craft Twinkles
  • DCT5 - Christmas Red
• Wooden advent sled
• #0 liner brush
• #12 flat brush
• #4 flat brush
• Water container
• Palette or plastic plate
• Water container
• Stylus (optional)

Steps:

1. Refer to photo and paint elements as follows: knobs, trim dots, numbers on True Blue drawers, Snow White; drawers, True Blue; runners and top trim, Lamp Black; drawers, runner filigrees, sled body, Santa Red; drawers, Festive Green; sides, Sour Apple.
    
2. Apply Christmas Red Craft Twinkles to runner filigrees.
    
3. Use stylus or brush handle end to dot Lamp Black areas with Snow White.
