Christmas Poinsettia Angel
"This Poinsettia Angel is very easy to make. I save abandon dolls and make fairies with faux flower petals but since its Christmas I decided to make this one an Angel. When I make these, I transform the doll by adhering the petals directly to them and turning them into the flower versus dressing them in a flower. This Angel was made with gold poinsettia faux flowers from the dollar store and a glue gun."
Materials List
- Faux poinsettia flowers
- doll (5 - 8" tall)
- glue gun
- stick on jewels for headband
Instructions
-
Remove all the petals from the faux flower
-
Set the two larges aside for the wings
-
Begin at the neck line and adhere petals with hot glue to the doll's body
-
Continue to add petals moving downwards tucking some over and some under the petals as you go.
-
Put small dabs of glue between petals to help them stay in place
-
Glue wings on at the end
