DIY Eco-friendly Present Wrapping this Christmas
"Did you know… lots of your wrapping paper can’t be recycled!! You can still give festively wrapped presents with our eco-friendly wrapping solution. Simply use plain, brown (recyclable) paper and customise it with your own unique Christmas touch, in lots of different ways. Use a rubber stamp to personalise or decorate! Create festive patterns using the stamps or stamp on a personalised message."
Materials List
- Plain brown paper
- Scissors
- Tape (preferably eco-friendly, e.g. brown kraft tape)
- Twine
- Personalised or Christmas image rubber stamps
- Ink pads (green and red)
- Brown tags
- Cinnamon sticks
- Holly leaves / Christmas Tree off-cuts
- Pine cones
Instructions

Cut your brown paper to the correct size for each present.

Wrap each present in the brown paper. Sticking it down with tape.

Use Christmas image stamps or personalised message stamps, and the coloured ink pads to create fun, festive patterns and messages on the wrapping paper.

You can also stamp (or write on) a brown tag and attach this to the present using the tape.

Add a bow for an extra special touch. To get the right measurement, loosely wrap the twine around each side of the box and give yourself some extra length on top, so you can tie a bow.

Using the twine, it's now time to add any extra decorations such as, cinnamon sticks, holly leaves/Christmas tree off-cuts, pine cones. Once you've secured these onto the twine, tie a neat bow.
