Woodland Advent Calendar

I am really proud , it is the first time I am on time for our Advent Calendar! Oh yes... every year I had it on my mind to create something for the kids and everytime I was cancelling because of no free time at all! Last year it was my first official attempt to create an Advent Calendar for the kids, a really simple craft full of color! The kids were thrilled and and also I did, because it was a challenge for me to find activities for the kids and at the same time the best way to organize myself and our program! This year I have decided from the first of November that we will have a proper Advent Calendar this year... and then we had this small amazing excursion in Agoriani and the idea just came in my head...Woodland my friends, with gnomes and elfs and houses and... so let's create it together!

1. Pinecone Christmas Ornaments: Collect pinecones from your backyard or local park and turn them into beautiful ornaments for your tree. Simply add some paint, glitter, and a ribbon for hanging. You can even add little gnome or elf figures to give them a woodland theme.

2. DIY Snow Globes: Create your own magical snow globes using mason jars, miniature Christmas figurines, glitter, and glycerin. Shake them up to create a winter wonderland scene that will delight both kids and adults alike.

3. Handmade Christmas Cards: Get crafty with your holiday cards by making them yourself. Use festive materials like cardstock, ribbons, buttons, and stickers to create unique and personalized cards for your friends and family. You can even add little woodland creatures like deer or owls for a special touch.

4. Holiday Wreath: Gather some pine branches, holly, or other greenery to create a festive holiday wreath for your front door. Add in some small ornaments, pinecones, and ribbon to give it a woodland theme. It's a fun and easy craft that will add a festive touch to your home during the holiday season.
