- 4x4 Tiles
- Felt Pads
- Paper Trimmer
- Scissors
- Mod Podge
- Foam Brushes
- Clear Spray Paint
- Newspaper
Instructions:
- Cut paper down to 4 inches x 4 inches. If you want to use several patterns of paper, cut down to 1 inch x 4 inch strips. Apply Mod Podge with a foam brush to the entire tile. Make sure you get all the way to the edges. Press your trimmed paper into the tile. Apply pressure to the paper as it dries, smoothing out any bumps of air. Allow to dry. I am glad I found this craft idea so far ahead of Christmas. I have a large stash of scrapbook paper that could be put to use for these coasters. I am thinking my beach themed and travel themed paper would make beautiful coasters. I can't wait to make these!

This is a great craft to do with family! Lay out plenty of newspaper to protect your table and it helps to cut the paper down to the 4x4 squares ahead of time. The end result is a great gift for grand parents or anyone else. This would even be a great craft for teachers to do with their class.

I LOVE this idea!! It actually reminds me of some fish tiles that i had put felt on a while back to make coasters, but I never thought of personalizing them like this :). I have a feeling these are what people are getting for Christmas this year lol
