Layered Circles Ornament
"Here's a modern and easy ornament to make for your Christmas tree or display it year round as Allison Patrick does hers, thanks to the pretty floral paper rounds she punched from an old book of flower paintings. Allie gives tips on how best to make this layered circle ornament, also called an artichoke ornament. A Sharpie marker will come in handy, as will a glue gun. You'll be able to make a batch in an evening."

For the first time in a while I will be able to put up a Christmas tree. From living in a very small apartment and not having the room or a tree. Now this year living in a house with the perfect window for displaying the tree I purchased at the local thrift store I am getting all excited about it now. This will be the perfect project to update a few of my worn and dated ornaments from years ago.

I just can not wait to try this ornament craft. Over the years I have collected quite a few ornaments and most of them are not all that pretty. Now I can really make those unattractive ones that I typically hang at the back of the tree the ones that I want to hang for all to see. I already know what material I will be using to make the circles.

I have never seen anything like this and I find it intriguing . It's certainly easy enough and very pretty. I have just the thing to use for this. I was given an old wallpaper sample book. It's loaded with all kinds of beautiful pieces. Thank you for sharing thus great idea on how I can use them.
