DIY Christmas Carol Wood Slice
The DIY Christmas Carol Wood Slice is the perfect Christmas craft to combine your love for carols with your love for crafts. You can sing along as you make each wood slice proclaim the lyrics of your favorite holiday songs. The smooth wood is rustic and the lettering, beautiful, which creates the perfect addition to your home for the holidays. These could be used as home décor, or if made small enough, they could be beautiful ornaments. Make a few to display around your home, or give them away as thoughtful handmade Christmas gifts.

Nice to have a template, but if you are artsy, you can have part of the charm being in your own hand, or trace the words printed out by your kids that they do on paper first. You could even have their hands outlined using this technique .... Make several and string them together with twine or pine garland for a cool fireplace mantel banner or even as a running table mat type of place setting or runner! Super idea!

I love how wood slices look as Christmas decor-- such an earthy feel, perfect to go with pine cones and garland. Plus, it's great that this project includes a template to trace, since I don't trust my own hand!
