Winter weather and chilly winds can make it easy to avoid decorating your outdoor space in December. Wrapping strings upon strings of lights around your home or trees can be daunting, especially if your climate is especially cold. The Light-Up Christmas Scene is the perfect solution for creative souls who want to avoid cold toes. Taking under an hour to put together, this Christmas light craft is a low-maintenance idea with a big impact. This example shows off a snowman design, but you could easily transform the idea to include reindeer, nutcrackers, or any other Christmas buddy you love.

Now this is some thing that the whole family can get into, and creating a unique design is a part of the fun! You could easily find lighted designs for sale, but then you see it everywhere ....why not have your own creativity be showcased like is project does! I would make sure the snowflakes are clearly lighted so they don't look like spiders! That is for another holiday! Very creative and fun project!
